How it works

Start of Parking Session

Cameras overviewing occupancy in each spot detect the vehicle's arrival, marking the start of the parking session.
An overview snapshot of the vehicle and its surroundings is captured by the camera.

Detection of Infringement

If a parking infringement occurs, the cameras automatically detect it.
The camera zooms in to capture a clear image of the vehicle's license plate.

End of Parking Session

When the vehicle leaves, the cameras detect the end of the session.
Another overview snapshot is taken to record the vehicle's exit.

Automatic Fining

An automatic fine is generated on the platform based on the infringement details.

Human Validation

A human operator reviews the fine in the dashboard's validation interface to confirm its accuracy.

Third-Party Handling

Once validated, the infraction is sent to a third-party service responsible for printing the fine notice and managing payment follow-up.

Enforcement use-cases

Parking duration

Parking duration is monitored and the control is triggered once the maximum parking duration is exceeded. This is applicable to Shop&Go, blue zones, delivery zones, EV bay with limited duration,...

EV spots

Based on the configured policy, the system triggers control based on potential violations as; vehicle present and no cable connected, or cable connected but no sessions started (ICEing), and battery full and vehicle not charging anymore (hogging). Interacting also with EV infrastructure.

Payment

PTZ camera captures the license plate of the vehicle and queries the payment provider platforms to verify whether there is a running payment against the license plate. Available for prepaid parking tickets (Pay&Display machines) and open parking tickets (mobile app,...).

Access control in delivery zones

Drivers sign-up to service via web-based app.
Access to delivery zones is authorized to registered vehicles only.
Unauthorized vehicles detected by PTZ camera will incur fines for parking.
