CommuniThings turns cameras into automated parking management. Since 2014, we've helped cities and operators see the kerb in real time — and act on it, automatically, from the back office.
Founded in 2014, CommuniThings has grown into a complete kerbside platform where vision meets automated enforcement. Cameras — from existing city surveillance to PTZ and ANPR — see the kerb; our back office does the rest, automatically.
This is the part most systems leave to people. CommuniThings closes the loop end to end: detect the event, read the plate, validate it against payments, permits, and rules, and generate the enforcement action — all from the back office, with staff stepping in for validation and on exceptions and disputes. What used to need a warden on the street and a clerk at a desk becomes one automated workflow, auditable from event to outcome.
The same vision layer is hardware-agnostic and multi-purpose: it guides drivers to free spaces, counts occupancy in real time, reads plates for access and enforcement, and feeds the statistics cities need to plan — working with the cameras already on the street or new ones we deploy, augmented by in-ground or surface sensors only where a specific bay demands it.
Our mission is to ease urban mobility while improving how cities and companies operate. That's our Kerbside Vision: turning the most contested few metres of the city into infrastructure that's measurable, manageable, and fair — seen, decided, and enforced, without the patrol.
We constantly push the boundaries of IoT and smart-city technology to deliver better solutions.
We work closely with cities, operators and enterprises to co-create tailored parking solutions.
Smarter parking reduces emissions, congestion and wasted time — contributing to greener cities.
