Our cutting-edge solutions require a dynamic and hands-on approach to field operations, and we’re looking for a Field Operations Engineer to lead these efforts.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Operations Engineer to oversee all aspects of our field operations. This role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of our projects, from equipment ordering to installation, configuration, and ongoing support.
The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial engineering and a strong track record in managing and supporting projects.

• Project execution: Accompany and implement a project from order to go live date and beyond during support phase.
• Field operations: Lead and manage all field operations activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
• Performance tracking: Monitor the performance and health of installed systems, using data-driven insights to ensure optimal operation and identify areas for improvement. Detect and resolve anomalies proactively. Act upon alarms received from installed equipment towards resolution.
• Support: Provide technical support to our clients, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Hands-on troubleshooting: Login remotely to installed devices and execute troubleshooting on device and backend.
• Feedback to R&D Team: Collaborate closely with our R&D team, providing detailed feedback and insights to resolve any issues and contribute to ongoing product improvement.
• Configuration / Provisioning: Perform the configuration and provisioning of equipment to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
• Communication: Prompt, clear and proactive communication towards our customers and suppliers.
• Suppliers and subcontractors: Manage our suppliers towards on-time delivery.
• Industrial engineering: Utilize your expertise in industrial engineering to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and ensure the effective use of resources.
• Order equipment: Manage the procurement process for necessary equipment, ensuring timely and cost-effective ordering and delivery.
• Project planning: Develop high level project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Execution of installation: Oversee the installation process, ensuring that all equipment is installed according to specifications and industry standards.
• Testing: Conduct thorough testing of systems and equipment to ensure functionality, reliability, and safety.

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a field operations role, preferably within the IoT, smart city, or related industries.
• Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional projects.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Analytical and technical skills for root causes analysis.
• Technical skills to configure devices going to field as well as their configuration in the smart parking backend.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel as required to oversee field operations.
• Languages: Proficiency in Dutch and English is mandatory. French a plus.
